Students should be challenged. Mathematical sophistication should
be cultivated. Course content should be modernized frequently.
Theory should be supplemented with examples of associated technology.
Hands on experiments and demonstrations should be included wherever possible.
Longer, guided homework problems are preferred over many short problems.
Computer modeling is emphasized for solution of design oriented problems.
